People gave up on Mason after 5 or 6 games. Kenny has had 1 year and a half and there has been no improvements. The best thing for Kenny is to sit for a while. I honestly thought they would Let Mason start and not pick up Mitch then when the time was right then you see Kenny. I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers give Mason a big contract in the off season.

He is the common denominator and Pittsburgh fans said as much and wanted him fired. First game after he is gone Kenny has a good game. Mason after he is gone has a couple good games. This is why I'm not completely ready to say it's over for Kenny.

A full pre-season of the two of them competing and full reps for rudolf should bridge the gap for him. Look at what he’s done with limited reps already. But it’s just my opinion - what’s your call? Draft a rookie? Trade for a veteran? Or stick with Kenny or Rudolf?

He’s more poised in the pocket, can extend plays and his deep ball is very nice. You can tell he has higher football IQ than Kenny rightfully given his time here. I think we make them battle it out, can’t afford to bring a veteran or draft a fresh guy and start all over.

If the Defense didn’t step up and make plays in games they won with Kenny starting they would be 2-14 right now instead of 9-7. Kenny is a back up at best, he lacks arm strength and the ability to read beyond his first read. His ability to scramble and throw a side line pass is his strong suit. Hope Kenny succeeds but they have made him out to be something he is not… a starter. Wasn’t hard for Mason to step in and shine! Watched there film side by side and you will see who the better qb is and it’s clearly Mason. Mason Rudolph don’t only deserve the starting Job but deserves an Apology for Tomlin for burying him the past couple years.
