Im not much of a nano influencer (i only have 4k followers) but i decided to sign up to be an affiliate for a company. The company has messaged me that they wanted a media kit and i had 0 clue on what this was until i searched this

Thanks so much for this video! I started creating automotive enthusiasts and DIY content for my channel about 3 years ago. As of Fall semester 2021, I've enrolled in film school and become a full time filmmaker. I am submitting a media packet for the first time and for a major brand that I know I can bring tremendous value. But watching other content on creating a media kit was a bit overwhelming for me, a micro influencer. I have attained more useful knowledge and feel more empowered having watched this, and for that I am grateful! I'll be sure to share the results of this experience in the near future! 👊🏽💯

I'm a content creator, and Im being asked for media kits, when I don't even use social media to 'advetrise' other brands products/services on my social media. I do work for THEIR accounts, website, or for their ADs, not to be seen on my social media -- but, I may post something every once in a while if I wish, but that's not my focus. So, do I really need one??? Wouldnt it be more so of a portfolio than a media kit?

It would be helpful for the brand if you have a Media Kit as they'll know the style of content you create and what you can deliver if they hire you.

I was just thinking “who am I to start looking into this if I only have 55 followers on TikTok and instagram… I haven’t ever worked with any brands so I would have nothing to put on a media kit..”. What would you recommend me starting with to get some collaborations going? Do you think I even can with 55 followers? Or should I just wait to grow my channels? And what number of followers would I be able to have to start searching for collars and not look/feel silly about.
