My favorite story from Norse myth with Loki is the one with the giantess Skadi, she was mad the Aesir got her father killed and they offered her compensation and gifts, one of them being a good laugh, and Loki was the one who gave her that. Actually, for those who don't know, he screwed the horse at their behest because they didn't want to pay for a construction project they had commissioned that the horse in question was involved in. @@drewlaw2192 to what I remember when Loki confronted the other gods how they always shift the blame to him when it's not even his fault at all, they decided to prison him but never really said that he was wrong, it makes an example of the scapegoat, and I mean the old meaning of it. two goats, one is sacrificed and one is freed. With also jesus in Christianity being a sort of scapegoat but willing nonetheless, which also means now with Loki a scapegoat and jesus a scapegoat, it makes Loki not far from being a sort of jesus figure. While the Satan one is when Ragnarok happened, a sort of cleansing apocalypse to clean the world of it's horrible gods and to be replaced with a newer god. And he's also kind of a stereotyped Lucifer but either way it's also typical for Satan and Lucifer to be the same character.
