Glad to see singapore new trains still adopt notch control for the combined traction and brake controller(CTBC). In Hong Kong most new trains are notchless and it is much more difficult for drivers to apply constant amount of accelerating /braking as we need to actually look at the CTBC positions or TMS to confirm our CTBC inputs every time😢So envy of you singapore drivers can just select appropriate notches you wish and be able to pay attention on other manual driving tasks and most importantly, a much more relaxing drive.
