I've watched hours of tumbling videos and NONE talked about stainless or other metals. This was a HUGE HELP!!!!!

is ceramic polishing abrasive media supposed to shine metal parts? It just makes mine very dull.
@djochoa2 жыл бұрын
Ceramic abrasive (gray color) is for deburring. It leaves a dull matte finish. Porcelain ceramic (whitish color) mixed with the proper compound and run for the proper amount of time (1 hr max) can burnish parts back to a brighter shine (not full chrome polish though). A full polish can be achieved with a dry treated corn or walnut shell in a 12 to 24 hour tumble cycle.

Hi!! I would like to know if you can recommend a chip or something similar to polish (final) polyester resin parts? Note: parts that vary between 20mm and 45mm thankful
@djochoa2 жыл бұрын
Hi. You can try the same porcelain media to try and burnish plastics but it is trickier
