My guess is owner came out with such lock system for robbery scenario on his personal safe where he makes quick escape out of the room and lock up robber from outside.. But still for this actual scene i am not sure how the robber is aware of such lock system😅

Tusheintar Segaran was convicted of robbery and theft and sentenced to 2 years’ imprisonment and 6 strokes of the cane. Kotta Kumar Jeswanth was convicted of robbery and theft and sentenced to 12 months of Reformative Training. Arunasalam S/O Kannan was convicted of retaining and aiding in the disposal of stolen property and sentenced to 3 months and 3 weeks’ imprisonment.
