Dungeons of Hinterberg was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed playing through the entire title.

My big winner this year is Steamworld Heist 2 and an honorable mention for Palworld. The ones I want most that I missed are Animal Well, UFO 50, and Plucky Squire.

I was pleasantly surprised with “Minishoot adventures”and yes I would like see a sequel to🤗.Berzerk boy is still a game that’s in my list that I want to buy and play hopefully this year..(still so manny games and so little time)Another game (3 years old) that I want to play with a friend is “Operation Tango”maybe this year…

Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, Animal Well, and Echoes of Wisdom are my games of the year. Honorable mentions to Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus, and Prince of Persia the lost crown.

Gimmick! 2 looks awesome. Been meaning to play, Dungeons of Hinterberg. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes was a great game! 🤙🏻

Highly recommend a playthrough. Wonderful fluid controls, charming visuals, and a great soundtrack. Plus lots of secrets to find. I do warm you that it is a difficult game. But it is a great one.

Animal Well, Balatro and Li'l Guardsman are my top 3 so far. I've also enjoyed Paper Trail, Arranger, Pepper Grinder and a couple non-indies as well. Looking forward to playing Dungeons of Hinterberg, Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, Minishoot Adventures, Rise of the Golden Idol and UFO 50 before the end of the year.

My favourite game this year was Penny's Big Breakway, I don't know if Private Division counts as "indie" but its in my view one of the greatest 3D platformers ever made. My 2nd favourite just came out of Early Access a month ago or so, Forgive Me Father 2, a Lovecraftian boomer shooter that was a worthy sequel to the first game.

Best AA game to have come out this year is GORI It was a year of amazing metroidvanias, but Moonlight Pulse (the one where you kill viruses inside a giant space turtle) was the best one. We also got one of the more original takes on stealth games with Ereban Hintenberg, Creatures of Ava, Dustborn and 1000 x Resist, are games I bought but still have on my "to play" list.

Lorelei is coming out to PSN, so I'll get to play it at some point. That's probably #1 for me, but I would be interested in all of them if given a chance. Hmm, looking at my list of off-beat games I played that also came out this year?: I played and 100% finished Pacific Drive, Tales of Kenzara, The Land Beneath Us, Rebel Transmute, Let's Revolution!, Crypt Custodian, Pepper Grinder, Caravan Sandwitch, Castaway I will probably finish Beyond GalaxyLand in a week or so. I played but haven't finished: Rusted Moss, Arranger, Exophobia, Frogun Encore, Elsie, Trinity Fusion, Metal Slug Tactics, Slay the Princess. I played a LOT but haven't gotten 100%: Balatro I'm looking at trying 9 Sols, Ravenswatch, and Fantasian for next month.
