Ok, but i gotta disagree with the "poor graphics" statement for Sky Oceans. I know "game bad" but the visuals are the one thing that got me excited in the first place when it was announced.

A game that is almost missing in my opinion is “Steam world Heist 2”.I played the original and enjoyed it.But the I.A.in the sequel is brutal I even changed from normal to story difficulty.Still merciless enemies.Thankfully there’s an difficulty setting you can tweak but otherwise you had to be a good strategist.Or got pretty upset Everytime you chance the difficulty and loss over and over again!I was expecting a good balanced difficulty system…I will 🤔continue at some point.

I was pretty disappointed with Shady Knight. It was just not smooth to move around, the platforming was clunky, the environments were repetitive and disconnected, and the enemies were not interesting to fight against.

yeah, I may not be as harsh on sly oceans but it was a huge disappointment. If it was not indie I'd call a cash grab. As an indie it may be a cash grab or may be an overscoped under developed mess.

Little Big Adventure as been changed to much.. Visuals are worse, music is worse, story is worse. Utterly baffling why they would change everything people liked. Even Twinsen himself has been race swapped.. Utterly unacceptable remake treatment.. A case study in how to NOT remake a game. This makes me dread what they'll do to the beloved sequel.

Sky Oceans was a complete disaster. I only played the demo, but it was more than enough for me to see that it was nothing I had any interest in. I, like you, adored Skies of Arcadia, so I was very hyped prior to playing the demo. As such, it is definitely the biggest disappointment of the year for me, and one of the biggest of all time at that.

If like me, you were pissed that pneumata was so awful tryi out Beyond Hanwell. Same vibes but it is actually really fun. A bit pricey at 30 bucks but worth a go

Damn. Nitpicking is still a thing. I literally don’t believe your lba game crashed a lot of times. Nobody ever reported that

I'm hoping they do make a patch to fix Sky Ocean. The problems are in execution, not design, and so some skip animations, and speeding up some transitions would got a LONG way to making the game leagues better. The story would remain so-so, but then, Skies wasn't groundbreaking in its time, it was just a breath of fresh air, a lighthearted and fun adventure, as opposed to all the dark broody FF7 knock offs that were coming out rapid fire at the time. I've been told the Dreamcast version was also plagued by load time issues and a too high encounter rate, so if it can recover as Legends, whose to say its spiritual successor can't as well?
