A great home , nobody needs two homes !!! holiday homes are extremely decadent especially in a time when so many people are struggling to even find one decent home that is not over priced

Really. I have 3 and rent 2. I have no idea why you say people are struggling? My tenants always pay their rent on time, because they know that if they do not they will be sleeping under the stars.

@@erepsekahs hopefully one day the state will take your 2nd and 3rd homes off you and give them to deserving locals in need of a first home. Second/ multi home owners and property investors etc are not welcome in Cornwall.

Property investors are extremely welcome in Cornwall by all the town and city councils. You would be well advised to attempt some education in that regard and to understand why. I know of a man, a local to Cornwall, who has made an extremely good living as a property developer, and yet he came from a very modest Cornish family and has a Cornish Secondary School education. He has, as I said, made a lot of money as a developer and investor, owns several beautiful homes all over the world and drives very expensive cars. You're not jealous by any chance...are you? @@erepsekahs that local man from a secondary school probably started his property development back in the 1980s or early 1990s when property in Cornwall was as cheap as chips. When you could buy a good semi detached house in St Ives for about £45K or less, now the same house would go for £500K-£800K. Working class locals can’t even dream of having a mortgage deposit for a tiny flat nowadays. They’re forced to rent, and take on several jobs to afford that rent. Sadly the banks don’t feel sorry for these hardworking people should they be brave enough to ask about mortgages usually it’s a friendly smile by the advisor before being sent on their way with nothing. The property ladder is simply untouchable for most working class Cornish people :(
