Got hooked up with one of these from medicgrow. Amazing light, love that bloom boost for flower.. one issue- cannot deal with the hanging hardware they provided. It was very cumbersome trying to hang a light with it especially cuz it doesn’t lock in place, it will fold on you constantly

we have very simple design , the FOLD 8, you can find many good review online , however , you need a controller to make it work. So for smart 8 , you have much more powerful features and without a external controller which is good for small size grower . thanks !

Wow , these new lights are kicking ass . Black dog have gone out of date now , their new lights don't even have a dimmer and they want $3000 Per light . 😆 This price of this unit is really good . I still prefer Duo Tech 830w .

Hey Mr.Migro could you please do a review of the grow light from Dazor? The have a 4 and 8 bar with dimmer or bluetooth. They are from St.louis Missouri in the States. They have been making lighting here for 75 years. I am from the area and really value your wisdom and words. I did a tour of their operation and they were open, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure i understood what they were telling me. I want to support local companies and that's what led me to them. Thank you for all you do, and I hope you are able to shed some light on how they stack up to the awesome Array light you make and others. I hope they do well. Thanks.

Yes it can work either way. They suck at customer service. My light came in broke and can't even get a replacement

@@juiceman2004 sheesh I don’t like to hear that. I was about to buy a mars hydro light but they have crappy customer service and won’t answer my voicemails or emails. So much for the customer service everyone raves about by mars. I guess all these companies just want to take your money and run.

Great video. I have a smart 8 light which I do like. I always run at 80% with the bloom button engaged at roughly 40inches above the canopy. I don't like hitting my head on the flight when in the tent. My question is, at 80% with bloom button engaged, what height would be good to hanf this light. Thanks

Hello shawn. I know you dont answer or react to many posts, but i really want to give you something to consider. Electricity bills are going high, people like to have a low power footprint and therefore some people are buying "oversized" lights, to run them at lower power in hope for raising efficiency. For example, running a bar light with 300 watt in a 2x2 at 50-60%. It would be so cool if you could add some results for lamps when they are only at 50% power.

Even inside the country a package always costs the same, no matter if you send it 10 or 600km. I dont think i would risk it to pay another 50 or 80eu import to the state...maybe even have to go and pick up my package from an office. Allthough when buying from AliExpress, things like that never happen. but i didnt ever order something more than 70 or 80 eu. Id still like to know how much shipping would be.

I'm testing this light . I was forced to add a timer. because the led screen dose not power off in darkness , leaving green light on in darkness. it's in my page if you like to have a look . do you think the green light would be an issue ? thank you for the video . just didn't know if you were aware the screen stays on

It is green for a good reason. Your plants Do not see green light. So no problem there!!!

bought the spectrum x 5 months ago. the lcd went out then the lights stopped comming on. emailed them. they replied that they wanted a video of it not working so I sent it . they responded are engineers will analyze the video if we find anything we'll contact you... I don't see how an engineer can fix my light through video. straight garbage .

Sounds underpriced. Can you run that light 12” from the canopy at that power if you had CO2, and not fry your buds?

Market is getting bigger, more competition scott... really, a lot of LED was over priced for years heh. I could name other HK based brands making clones for even cheaper. The standard average is 1000PPFD for flower. co2 enhances growth rates at 1000-1500 ppm depending on stage, for sure. Adjust until you see negative effects, then (depending on cultivar, some can handle more intensity if they are thinner leaves) set it back 5 to 10 percent for the optimal growth (dependent on each cultivar you use personally.. all plants are different depending on landrace.

The absolute worst hanging hardware I've ever attempted to use i haven't even plugged the lite in and im deducting 2 stars its bent out of square from trying to use this hardware my hands are full of metal splinters my other lites are down already its now lites off for the night.and I have to try to get this thing up again at 3:30am before I go to work and my lites have to be on smh

I bought this light off your recommendation. It comes in non working and has been sitting since and non usable. Medic grow refuses to help. They are getting multiple sells from your platform but treating your followers like shit.

These are not made by medic grow and are really Samphon lights. I have a smart 8 light that had a medic grow sticker on it and when I removed it, it says Samphon. This is not cool.

@@rickjames1851 it is a pretty good light. Powerful and would buy another one. The Migro lights look good as well as Mars Hydro and spider farmer bar lights. Woo many good lights out there. HLG are good to.
