Yusuf Chambers: JazakAllah Khair, Dr. Zakir. Let’s move on the next question. I want to come back to ummm…some of the point you mentioned under the physical changes and benefits of the fast. What are the medical implications of fasting?
Dr. Zakir: There are innumerable medical benefits when a person fasts. It organizes the heart beat and relaxes it. It reduces the pressure on the heart arteries and it reduces the fat, the cholesterol as well as the acids. It releases the pressure on the liver. Fasting also decreases the secretion of the digestive glands which normally causes ulcer. There are less chances of having kidney stones when a person fasts. Fasting is also helpful in non-insulin dependant diabetes. And fasting is also helpful in reducing the weight. Fasting as a whole, it is beneficial for the whole digestive system as well as central nervous system. Fasting helps in removing the toxics form the body. Fasting increases the immunity of the body. Fasting also reverses the aging process. It increases the longevity, life span of a human being. Fasting also helps in creation of more of T-cells which are known as killer cells. And fasting as a whole, it rejuvenates and overhauls the complete body. And there are various diseases which are helped when a person fasts.
For example when a person is suffering from certain diseases and if a person fasts its helpful for him. for example in cardio vascular diseases if a person is suffering form Asthma, from Arthritis, form digestive disorders, if he is suffering from lupus, from skin disorders, if he is suffering from non- insulin dependant diabetes. There are various, the list can go on and on and it is even helpful in removing a person who is addicted to things which are Haraam and even medically they aren’t good for example smoking, a person who is an alcoholic or a person who is chain smoker. Fasting helps him in breaking this wrong habit and addiction.

Salma Nasser, here are some facts you should know: Is Jesus God? - Jesus claimed to be God. Take for example the words of Jesus in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God. They tried to stone Him for this very reason: “You, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33, emphasis added). The Jews understood exactly what Jesus was claiming-deity. When Jesus declared, “I and the Father are one,” He was saying that He and the Father are of one nature and essence. John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth … before Abraham was born, I am!” This is a reference back to Exodus 3:14 when God revealed Himself as the “I AM.” The Jews who heard this statement responded by taking up stones to kill Him for blasphemy, as the Mosaic Law commanded (Leviticus 24:16). Is Jesus God? - His followers declared Him to be God. John reiterates the concept of Jesus’ deity: “The Word [Jesus] was God” and “the Word became flesh” (John 1:1, 14). These verses clearly indicate that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, “Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood.” Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. And this same verse declares that God purchased His church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God. Thomas the disciple declared concerning Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the coming of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In Hebrews 1:8, the Father declares of Jesus, “But about the Son He says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The Father refers to Jesus as God, indicating that Jesus is indeed God. In Revelation, an angel instructed the apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation did. Beyond these, there are many other passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus being God. Is Jesus God? - The reason Jesus must be God. The most important reason that Jesus must be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death. Is Jesus God? Yes. Jesus declared Himself to be God. His followers believed Him to be God. The provision of salvation only works if Jesus is God. Jesus is God incarnate, the eternal Alpha and Omega (Revelation 1:8; 22:13), and God our Savior (2 Peter 1:1).

I had a question to ask; I think that there is a little concept of racism in islam too first of all i know that physical appearences are the least to deal with but still i would like to hear a word about this; I have heard about the phisical appearences of Prophet PBUH that he looked neither too white nor too black but whenever he stood with a person he looked whiter but not darker why? Assalam-u-alaikum Dr. Zakir Naik I have a question and i am very confused by it. I hope you can answer me with an understandable explanation. It is said that everything happens by the will of Allah Almighty that even a leaf doesn't move without his will. (My question is if a person commits rape then who is to blame.) Alaikum salam. Allah swt has given us free will that he chose not to interfere with as a test to see if we are obedient. Every bad thing a person does is 100% his choice and his choice alone. Allah already knows what you are going to choose, but he wont mess with it, otherwise it is not a test anymore and the whole purpose of heaven and hell would not make sense if he made you do haram things by his will. He has given us the chance to earn paradise or hell, it is up to us too choose which one we end up in. So to answer your question, Allah swt will never make us do things that will cause us to enter heaven or hell. He influences us and tells us what is the right path. But never will he force his will upon our decisions, as he created us to make choices and use our own intellect. Hope that helpes you.

MashaAllah . I was looking for a way to leave narcotics since long time , always asking and searching here and there , but never found a way for it... Truely Fasting Helps in leaving narcotics , I myself have seen the result , of course the first 10 days of Ramazan was Difficult for me bcz I could not use narcotics , but now it has been reduced from 100% to 10% Alhamdulillah and I am 100% sure I will be leaving it all by the end of this Blessed Month. Plz all those who want to leave their addiction habit , please try it for once , you will see the results inshaAllah. 👍❤️
