My husband suffering complete SCI from feb 2024, we did surgery for keeping upper body straight, but as per dr Said their is no chance he can walk again in complete SCI patient can't walk, can't feel session below the injury of that part of vertebrae, he have D8 injury so he can't feel anything below chest 😢😢, in world their is so many people suffering leg paralysis some of leg and hand also, feeling so bad for all of them, we will wait for new treatment and technology for all paralysis people, till their be strong all of you who are suffering and family give them positivity so they can't be depressed. You have to take care your mental health, and other physical health issues due to this injury. Be brave 💪

Yes it does. It sends electrical signals to the spinal cord which can control motor functions such as bowel & bladder
