Such a great video! Amazing how quickly a blob of color can turn into such a recognizable image.

Thank you so much for sharing! I felt like I found a gem in KZbin! I have a suggestion, though I am sure it would take a lot of time to do this. But it would be great if your tutorial can showcase a series of smaller tutorial that builds up to a final illustration. e.g. muscles, ligament, blood vessels and then skin. Featuring different parts / organs. :)

Do you draw with a pen on a tablet?? Or do you use your mouse? Either way it's awesome 👌. Do people who graduate from any of the 4 programs pretty much get a job as a medical illustrator or is that part a little more difficult to find?? Do you draw for textbooks or anything?

Do you draw with a pen on a tablet?? Or do you use your mouse? We mostly use a tablet (wacom intuos is a pretty good brand) Do people who graduate from any of the 4 programs pretty much get a job as a medical illustrator or is that part a little more difficult to find?? It really depends on the individual person on how successful they are after graduation. Do you draw for textbooks or anything? Although textbook illustration is a big sector within our field I have never really done any projects for textbooks.

Thanks so much, I use a generic hard round brush with opacity. I use that and a combination of the soften or smudge tools to get hard and soft edges. Hope that helps!

i wanna know more should you ever lable your illustration if you are drawing them traditionally
@AnnieCampbellMedical
@AnnieCampbellMedical 3 жыл бұрын
Sure you can label them if your client needs them labelled. Some traditional artists usually scan their drawings and do the labels on their computer. This way you get to keep your originals clean.

Dear Annye do you use a stylus or pad?
@AnnieCampbellMedical
@AnnieCampbellMedical 7 жыл бұрын
Ismael vasquez-moctezuma Hi thanks for taking the time to comment. I use a stylus pad, a Wacom intuos to be exact. Here's a link to the model I use: www.wacom.com/en-us/products/pen-tablets/intuos-pro-large It's a bit pricey so if you're starting out, you could check out the other lines that they offer. Hope that helps!
