Dont forget to to shave the patient (if hairy) if you need to do an ECG...the amount of ECG units i used to repair because they "didn't" work...

@@atousa5752 I've moved industry now, but when I did work at the NHS 9/10 reported faulty equipment was user error, thermometers not working because the disposable cap wasn't on. BP monitors because the cuff was for a large leg so didn't fit on an arm, Doppler didn't work due to battery being removed and my favorite (Scariest) when you get called to ward/theater due to an infusion pump with an occlusion alarm having nurses / Docs insisting that limit be raised just to point out the needle isn't inserted correctly into the vein and just pumping into under the skin...
