I recently bumped into this channel as a GCSE student hoping to do medicine and I can't thankyou enough for the advice and tips as well as the insight to the lifestyle of a medical student. Many of my worries, questions and anxieties have been relieved and answered and has motivated me to pursue this choice of career further x I do have one question ; on one of your earlier videos at the start of this channel where you're opening your a level results, I noticed that Lydie's results didn't mention Chemistry A level and I was wondering how this was as I've always been told that Chemistry was compulsory to pursue any medical course in any university? Please do enlighten me on this as I'm nervous on selecting this A level since there is the stigma of it being the Hardest A level. This is the cutest comment 🥹❤️ thank you so so much for your kind words!!! So basically not all medical schools require biology AND chemistry a-levels. You can apply to some medical schools with biology OR chemistry, if you have two other sciences like maths or physics. So for example, you could do Biology, Maths and History. These medical schools include Manchester university, Barts and the London, keele university and anglia Ruskin university. Please make sure to do your research and check the “medical school councils entry requirements guide” to get a full list of exactly what a-level subjects each medical school requires!!
