This is a good video. It proves the point that as long as you know what the root, prefixes, and suffixes mean you can figure out what words mean even if you have never seen them before. You also have connecting vowels like o and e.

If neph is a prefix means it should come in the beginning of the term...but in pylonephritis, the neph is not in the beginning! Please can u explain how I'll appreciate that

Does anyone have any tips on how to memorize these roots and prefixes... At least a few tricks to remember a couple of them?

A prefix has an - before it. A suffix as an - after it. Example: -lytic means destruction. The root won't have any because it goes in the center of the word...IF the word even has a root.

Good luck. I am sure you will do very well; please continue to study and never, never give up. I had an interest in medicine when I was a very young child. Years later it's still within me but perhaps a young beautiful person like yourself can continue with your own dreams. Peace and love.
