He gets frustrated quickly. He doesn't have 100% have good communication with other people or follow instructions from others like his teachers. It's probably a demyelinating disease. Eg, mmr giving baby extreme fever, could result in demyelination or lack of myelination, which is taking place in early development. Later, it doesn't recover because myelination is a dynamic process, and determines speed of axons, the more used a neural circuit, the faster. Ie, the whole of the brain doesn't get the natural feedbacks anymore beyond toddler age (or doesn't have the energy to). It would also explain specific abilities, being extremely good at some things, because you can still get all the myelination focused some areas.
@MedicalCentric19 күн бұрын
@Rene-uz3eb Demyelinating diseases involve damage to the protective covering (myelin) of nerve cells, which can affect how quickly and efficiently signals are transmitted in the nervous system. While some vaccines, such as the MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) vaccine, have been scrutinized for potential links to neurological conditions, extensive research has not established a clear connection between vaccines and demyelination. Demyelinating conditions like multiple sclerosis (MS) or other neurological disorders can result in varying symptoms and abilities, influenced by how and where myelin damage occurs. If you have concerns about these conditions or their relation to vaccines, consulting with a healthcare professional can provide personalized insights and guidance.

If you’re seeing Autism symptoms in your baby or toddler try cutting out gluten from their diet. Look for wheat and barley in lists ingredients and avoid it. At around the age of 1 my beautiful son started withdrawing from the world. He became obsessed with pacing, lining up cars and spinning their wheels. His eye contact was very poor and he was lost inside his own head. At times it was as if my wife and I didn’t exists to him. I was naturally heartbroken and frightened for his future. I didn’t understand what had happened to him and I didn’t know what to do. I spoke to medical professionals and, although they tried, they weren’t much help. He was assessed and scored very high for Autism. I didn’t sleep for about three days and was constantly reading about ways I could help him. After much research I found a study on gluten and the strange effects it can have on children. I promptly cut gluten from his diet and the change in him was astonishing. I got my happy little boy back within a few days and after a few weeks he was completely free from the symptoms of Autism. I’m not suggesting that this will work for everyone but it genuinely did for us. If it stops one family from going through the hell that we went through I will be delighted. That's impossible, because it is immense. You can not like social situations, you can find lights insanely bright. You can not be able to tune out a single sound so everything is deafening. You can not be able to speak properly, or you can be ridiculously smart. You can get overly anxious, or really angry. Sometimes too many things build up and you reach a meltdown. 0:22 It is a challenging diagnosis because there is no gene has been identified with this condition. It is not an anatomical disorder however it is a function disorder, where the neurons work well but the way it works is abnormal. Many people believe because their child has a delay in speech it indicates autism which it is false. There are many things that can cause delay speech, from too much screen time to normal delay in learning speech. I dislike that this KZbinr does not give the definition of autism just what are behaviors that can hint on autism. Autism is lack of understanding emotional and social cues, leading them to become independent in play and some may not follow orders because they are egocentric, they don’t understand why someone can be upset and that don’t understand when someone is joking or serious. This is what makes diagnosis of this condition at a young age soooo challenging, we need to hear them talk and communicate to know whether it is or it isn’t which is why they are evaluated at 2-3 (for early intervention) and retested at 5 to know whether it truly was autism. Autism spectrum is a blanket term that can range from disabling social interaction to minimal social interaction but can function somewhat normal in public like Elon Musk or Anthony Hopkins Tim Burton or bill gates or even Einstein. Many of autistic people live normal lives with job and even a family, the only challenge as a parent is navigating their normal which is different from what the parent is used to. There will be many tantrums, delay in social function, and teaching of how to maneuver from a stressful incident to prevent tantrums or reverting to maladaptive defense mechanisms, the parent must be a teacher, a psychologist, and a parent, it may be a lot but in time it will this will be normal
@MedicalCentricАй бұрын
@docouchi7929 You've provided a thoughtful and detailed perspective on autism. Diagnosing autism can indeed be challenging, especially in young children, due to the variability in behaviors and developmental milestones. It's crucial to understand that autism is characterized by differences in social communication and behavior, rather than being a single, identifiable condition. Early evaluation and intervention are key, but it's also important to recognize that the spectrum of autism is broad, and individuals can have a wide range of abilities and challenges. The complexity of autism means that each individual's experience is unique, and their needs may evolve over time. Support from parents, educators, and healthcare professionals is essential in helping individuals with autism navigate their social world and develop coping strategies. With the right support and understanding, many people with autism lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals.

you need to do actual research on autism. as an autistic person myself, the things you are saying here are very hurtful. if your child is in fact autistic, then he will always be autistic. cutting gluten out is not going to help that. if he has a sensitivity to gluten, then that is most likely what you’re seeing. it’s pretty obvious to me after reading this that you have never completed high education. if you did, you would know that one study is not enough to make an educated conclusion. their sample size is most likely small and the methodology is weak. autism. is. not. a. burden. if you have that mindset that ‘aww my poor baby!’ then your child is going to suffer so much. not from autism, but from being treated like his life is awful.

There are a few problems I have with the video like saying autism starts in early childhood. You are born with autism and signs are often shown in childhood but can change over time. Also 1:04 why are men shown sad here?! 3:00 EVERYONE can have aggresive behavior for one reason or another, I would have gone into more detail with that one. Also reducing symptoms isn't always the right way but making the person aware of them e.g. let the person know that you dont look at their face during conversations instead of forcing them to look at them. Therapy also has to be researched properly as it can backfire since its way to easy to become someone that is supposed to treat autism. I am no expert just a 20 year old with autism currently going to college. edit: I also would have mentioned that autism can have positives like people with it being really good in a certain field they are interested in.

filipeflower You are correct, there is a lot of prejudice against people with this kind of affliction, though few would dare to admit how much. Also the diagnosis itself can be a sort of curse upon the individual to whom it is applied, limiting his/her own perception of what can be done with his/her life. I do not believe that God regards people as 'autistic' or 'normal'. Mostly the distinction is a very foolish one, and the scientific basis for it is weaker than many imagine. You see, what they call ASD is actually a RANGE of conditions, not necessarily related. It is NOT a single condition at all. Often doctors and administrators use the term because they don't know what is wrong, but have to say something which sounds plausible and CULTURALLY ACCEPTABLE. It's a kind of fad. I hope we outgrow it, but bad old ideas tend to stick3 around for a long time. You shouldn't seek your identity in 'being autistic'. That would be so self-limiting. You are a human person, not a psychiatric condition. God has the same ambition for all, as it says in the following passage: (1st Timothy 2:4-5) '[God] desires all men [humans] to come to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.'

My 3 year son was diagnosed with autism. It took him 19 months to walk, and he fell behind on many of the other mile stones by months. It's impossible to get him to try new foods, he's fixated with open and closing things, turning off lights, wanting to turn on the car, and it's literally a battle if you break any habit he has picked up. He gets angry and head butts you or throws tantrums literally anywhere including the middle of the parking lot. He has almost no fear and a high pain tolerance. He'll randomly key up on one child in a group and attack them for no reason while leaving everyone else alone. He has a very good memory and can count like a champ. He has a small group of people he really loves and ignores everyone else. He is the sweetest happiest kid I know otherwise, and it cancels out all the other hardships we deal with together. We continue to work with him and love him conditionally.

i'm 18 and have suspected i'm autistic for a couple years now. my parents are in complete denial of it and every time i bring it up they attempt to shun me away from the idea. i've been going to therapy since october, trying to figure out what's up with me and my therapist agrees she thinks i may be autitsic. i've been trying to get my mom to take me to get tested but she won't listen to me. i've explained all the traits of autism i relate to and she just laughs at me. ever since i told her i don't like when people touch me she makes a point to do it because she thinks it's funny watching me pull away from her. it's agonizing. i don't know when i will get a job because i struggle so much socially, but i can't wait till i do and am eventually able to move out. i hate living here, these people are not my family. they do not listen to me and they do not respect me.

I haven't been diagnosed with autism yet, but I can tell from this vid that I'm autistic. But it makes me sad bc my older brother always making fun of me when I'm talking to my mom, bc I'm really slow. Before my mom had me, she prayed that she would have patience. And then, I'm guessing, God was like, "ok, I'm gonna give her a baby who is really slow at talking and won't talk at all till she is 4 years old. That will teach her to be patient!" So that is, of course, what happened. But my brother still makes fun of me. One time I was telling a story to my mom, that should have been told in 10 mins, and took me 30 mins. I was telling the story, and then my brother was with me (bc we were in the car) and he said, "CaN yOu sPeEd uP?!" And my mom said, "Be quiet! She can't help it!" And my brother said, "Is iT bC sHe hAs aUtIsM???" And my mom said, "Well..." then she mumbles to him, "kinda..." and I get sad. So if you got this far, God bless you and I'll pray for you out of your troubles, and plz pray for me.

I came here because I was talking with my mother about how I never realize some things I say could be viewed as insensitive or even heartless to the listeners before it’s too late and she said "that sounds like autism" and I was like "that’s autism?" And so I’m here. Now I find myself a little shocked at how many of those ‘symptoms’ said in this video I could relate to. Doesn’t like physical contact and preference staying alone? Check. Can’t understand whatever people try to communicate through signs or mouthing their words? Check. Sensibility to light and sound? Check. Basically a loner that sometimes lack empathy? Check. I know this isn’t ALL there is to it, so I’m just leaving this comment here before going on an adventure to finally understand why It’s so difficult for me to understand and get other teens my age.

A lot of shy and insecure people don't look in the eyes a lot. It requires practice. Some don't have the willpower to watch directly in the eyes or just watch for 2 seconds and then stare away. I have no autism and i have no problem share a conversation and make a good eye contact, but we all have bad days and when i'm not feeling my best i tend to look in the eyes but turn away every 2-3 seconds. I don't think this eye contact thing has anything to do with autism, most autistic kids don't literally ever look into the eyes or just stare 5% in the eyes and 95% stare something else i guess. Also many people have social anxiety, shyness ( especially cute girls i have met ) and aren't very confident. It's normal. What is not normal when you're a fucking weirdo creep dude who has no boundaries of others, is basically an idiotic robot who has literally no social skills at all who has problems with learning and everything else.

I have this disorder in my brain, my Genetics were the reason why I got this disorder in my brain, a lot of people got diagnosed with Autism, Verbal and Non Verbal. I’m a Verbal Autism Male figure that is allowed to speak, sometimes I have trouble communicating with others around. I act very shy. I’m sensitive, I get stress out by violent stuff, messing up things, yelling and fighting, criticism issues, and I wear my headphones a lot in my life. Autistic people have been abused and neglected so much that nobody even cared about them from that beginning. Because some people didn’t care about what they were going through in the past at all. And that’s why they’re acting up so much.

He’s 4. I feel like there’s not that many options out there for help. And Not many know how to properly handle him. As of now he sees a behavioral therapist weekly, is there anything else I can help him with? 🥺 I’m desperate and trying not to drop out of school at this point

Look up the 7 steps to instructional control. It gives some good guidance about how to help your child to follow your lead. Structure and schedules are helpful. You can find a lot of free resources for simple schedules online. It may also be helpful to look into a developmental child care center that is better able to meet your child's needs. Also, if you haven't already, at the age of 4, your child should have access to early childhood special education (obviously hard in the summer), but this would probably be beneficial.
