CCA or CPC-A WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES?

You have resuscitated my decision to continue my goal of becoming a CCA with AHIMA. I'm doing it scared and prepared thanks to your invaluable advice. The CCA is worth the extra effort; the annual membership dues with AAPC along with the requirement of twelve extra CEU's is a major deciding factors in studying AHIMA. Thank you.

I know this video was primarily about the CCA vs. CPC-A but thank you for the info about the CPMA. I'm currently an auditor and considered getting the CPMA but I'm sticking to getting the CCS-P. Thank you for all your hard work with these videos! 💙

Hello, I want to become an auditor, but first I am studying to pass my CCA, what advice would you give me to head towards the medical auditor position? I know I have to first get my CCA and get experience and in the future get the CCS. Is that correct?

And here I am thinking a CCA is lower value because everyone I work with has a CPC. I live in MA so it seems CPC is everything and some. Thank you. I feel so much better

I have experienced of almost 4+ years as an medical coder BUT for the past 8 months, I have been shifted to Administrative Job (SAME COMPANY) .... NOW I want to remove the Apprentice status from CPC certificate, What should It be written in my current job description?? please suggest .. passed cpc last week
