Medicinal Plants

The FFL Homeowner Series features research and Extension from the University of Florida. It provides science-based information from UF/IFAS experts to help your Florida landscape thrive while caring for the environment. This session covers background on medicinal plants, UF research, and plants with medicinal properties that can be grown in our Florida landscapes.
Blake Costine presents "Medicinal Plants." He is a master's student in the Environmental Horticulture Department at the University of Florida. His research focuses on exploring Florida natives for plant-derived pharmaceutical compounds.
