I got terrible a level grades got everything on industry and now I have almost finished my undergraduate clinician training as emergency medical technician with mental health bias and as a clinical skills lecturer. Hopefully another 5- 6 months until I can start my post grad lecturer training. You are awesome Ollie. Your videos encouraged me to continue when I was so close to giving up on my dreams watching your story and your studying from medical students to sho to fellow. It really inspired me never to give up on my dreams. It really helped my mental health and helped inspire me to never give up on what I have dedicated my life to. I owe you so much Ollie . Thank you. When times are hard I watch your videos to remind me why I have dedicated my entire life towards working towards becoming the clinical skills lecturer and why education in healthcare is so important in the first place. As no one should ever have to experience what I did because of a lack of training ever again.

Im thinking of resitting the A-levels, to try and do medicine again. But im confused as to when to do my UCAT? when do I apply to universities again? After doing the exams or before? Im so lost and i don’t even know who to ask

It's exactly the same process again at the same times as this year. So whenever you sat UCAT last time, you'll take it the next year - so I imagine the booking window will open very soon for the next sittings if not already open. Exams will be next summer with results day around now next year, applications to medical school in October this year.

I’m an undergraduate chemistry major who plans to pursue a PhD in pharmacology along with an MBA. While I have no inclination towards clinical medicine, your videos have been a valuable motivation aid in my learning path. Good luck with your studies and future career!

You can get into med school with AAB on access course. Or if you have lots of money pay for the private university lets you in with ABB
