Don´t take notes....Let it be. Mind can never "understand" it´s own absence...

Interesting topic on taking notes. After all.... the introspection of the self via the faux mind via subtle intellect is sanctioned by Sri ramana. The mind turns inwards in this case, and allows the false I to face its dwelling. Eventially to be coaxed back to the self where it belongs. Notes are OK in the beginning I think.

I appreciate the enlightenment that Ramama has discovered, and I do know it’s not an easy task to accomplish and that’s what sets enlightened One’s like Ramana apart from the population at large, and I also appreciate that it’s generally not an easy thing to accomplish cause their would be too many many people hanging out in bliss and just wearing a handkerchief, and who would get all the everyday work done, or is that the way it’s supposed to be, or where is the balance that Soul must achieve to become stable on it’s journey

I've been reading Sri Ramanas teaching almost daily for the past year he is truly an awakened soul. This is what came to mind after reading your post. I can't speak for him, but from what I get from his teaching. There's nothing new to discover, instead we must change our outlook or identification from the limited self ego body mind to our True Self( consciousness)that which is always shinning. Difficulty is only a thought to the ego that we must overcome. I also think once realized life goes on as normal. We all have a purpose and must participate. Always keeping the highest good in mind. Just some thoughts thank you for your comment.

Ramana would say don’t worry about any others, just take care and be mindful of your Self.

The mind will wander but just keep pulling your attention back into self ,you can carry on with tasks while remaining as self work house work it's not easy just remember too keep pulling attention back inward just keep doing that over time it will become Easier effort is needed until it becomes effortless Hope this helps when tasks are done whilst remaining in self the tasks become more harmonious it's the same as learning to play guitar at first it seems difficult but keep at it then it gets easier perseverance ,I'm not fully in total self abidence constantly but I keep pulling my attention back to self just keep at it don't give up ,namaste om shanti shanti shanti

The young man with short dark hair at Ramana's left looks very much like a young Swami Lakshmanjoo of Kashmir. Can anyone verify this?

Can you tell me who the swami is? I don’t know him.

@@courtney1829 He was regarded as the greatest living exponent of Kashmir Shaivism or Advaitic Shaivism of Kashmir. He died in 1991.

Hello friend, that is indeed Swami Lakshmanjoo! I did some research after reading your comment because the guy in the picture does look like him and I found an article about what he himself said about Bhagavan. Someone told him about Sri Ramana and the first time he visited him at his ashram Bhagavan asked him to sit in front of him and Swami did so, he looked at Ramana's feet and entered samadhi (in Swami's own words). Then he would often visit Ramana in the ashram and go on walks with him. Once Bhagavan called him and asked him to sit by his side because someone was about to take a picture (it was another picture you can look it up). So he would go on walks to the hill with Ramana and based on what he the Swami wrote we can be sure that is him there :)
