Can a ct scan still identify damage or fracture if not done right away. It has been a year since an accident and have a dent in my skull and always dizzy. Had an mri showing traumatic brain injury but wondering if the ct scan would be better at showing a fracture of the skull?

Wrong! Conscious does not mean C Spine imaging only. If you suspect Basilar Skull fracture, you need CT Head no matter the consciousness.

My son had an initial APGAR of 4. Apparently the magnesium I was getting made him too sleepy to bother with breathing. Meanwhile, I was chilling on the operating table, not at all concerned. Anatomy scan was good, kick counts good, and his heart rate was stable even when my blood pressure crashed. He was a really healthy, strong baby, his mom just sucked at being pregnant 😅.
