It will be a DAT coombs test. Also you will see spherocytes in the blood picture because the spleen will be removing those antibodies.

hello: 1-what different between clonal and monoclonal disorder because i noticed that acute and chronic leukemia is monoclonal and MDS is clonal 2-why is there thrombocytopenia is PBS in CML and thrombocytosis in PBS OF AML??

1- monoclonal means originating from one root (one crazy cell)...Clonal means it’s a stem cell problem that will affect several generations of different cells. 2- You switched them...It’s the opposite...CML has thrombocytosis because it’s a myeloproliferative disorder (all cell lines are increased) AML has thrombocytopenia because the leukemic cells “crowd out” other cell lines.

No its not like leucocytes are 1st increased then they decrease.... They are either very low (less than 5000) .. Or very high like 100000 per microlitre

Thanks for your question...Normocytic has only one meaning (normal cell size)...There is no such thing as nomocytic. And yes, they all have normocytic anemia because the leukemic cells “crowd out” the RBCs.
