Skeletal Structures- Hand and Wrist

Some might argue that the complexity of our hand is what separates us from other animals, it allows us to throw, catch, grab, gesture and perform many other activities. This complexity is reflected in the many bones that function as a part of the hand, this video discusses those bones.

Scaphoid= most fracture bone of the wrist, Capitate= biggest. Boxer's fracture= fracture involving the four or fifth metacarpals. Smith and Cole's fracture= fracture of the distal radius. The carpal bones are divided into the proximal row and the distal row thats the easiest way to memorize these bones.
