Hi, I created a new unit to my faction . I did a new entry to EDU and battle models, I use an existing unit I change just the textures, the armour is ok is changed but they dont have helmets? why is that?

What do you do if a unit you want to add has a new weapon? I'm trying to add Moon Guard from the Noldor of Eregion mod to DaC with AGO. I followed all the steps but it crashes when I try to launch the game, and I think it's because the Moon Guard have a weapon that isn't in DacAGO. Any help?

Would you know how to set a unit's/general's battle model texture to one certain texture instead of it having variants? As in, killing the texture blender that creates a ranomized variety within a unit?

You need to open the model with blender or milkshape and delete all the variations you dont like

@@fynntotalwar1672 Can't you just open the texture files and edit them manually - deleting the variants by pasting a certain texture piece over the others?

@@wiglaf5640 it is more complicated you need to know the exact uv positions and copy paste the same variation over the others, but could be done especially for simple stuff. But as you want to get rid of every variation it would be way more work then just editing the model

@@fynntotalwar1672 Yeah I figured. I've managed to get a single model without variation by simply deleting the other uv parts in the blender. I'm wondering though, since the blender uses .dae files, wouldn't it also be possible to combine the .dae meshes of two models by using the IWTE software to create new mesh-combinations? If this is possible, how would one texture this newly created model combination? Would you just have to add in a few lines in the MODELDB?
