Real money tho will be made by making iron arrow, so rush that smithy, buy some pickaxes and start mining iron. Cloth and animal breeding will come way later when you master farming and it will take a while. Each season I go mining 2 time 30 iron, bring me 2k right there just for arrow. The other two day I either help farming, do mission or craft bunch of stuff with what my villager gather. I cook or build at night. Ohhh and always check that any of your chest go full, you can use area of your builind to stack things.

cedrick thibaudeau thanks. I like the game. Getting villagers up to 70 affinity/esteem is a pain. I have two houses hunter lodge food and material storage. Just built a barn but I still haven’t gotten any villagers recruited. I think I’ll skip the farming for a season

@@tomn.9879 ive put one worker in a excavation shed for rock. When I got around 60 of them I upragde my house stone house. They need a lot of log too, 28 for tiles roofs and about 12 to do the house with rock. And if your storage have too many log in it from npc working. Pile them in the rack on the opposite wall. Evertime my chest get around 80 log I remove 6x10 from it and pile them in the rack for it. Do anytime I need buildiny I just have trip to bring stock. Finish the time I would had to chop forest to build something nice.

Money is so easy to make even on day one before the first quest, taxes are a non-issue. I personally just go steal everything I can on the map and make over 1000 coin before even the very first quest. You could just harvest resources to sell, yes it is a little tedious.

Depending on how you play. You had to sell drugs in the game 😁😅

It's a good video but the audio of your mic could be better

Yes sorry, realised after uploading that my audio was recording through my oculus rift on my desk, not my headset mic! Doh :)

@@Is_it_good I did this on a zoom call and it took me a few minutes to figure out why no one could hear me. It was on the built in mic for my web cam.

Farmers don't harvest crops, field workers do . Still Good video.

The workshop is basically obsolete once you have a smithy. I wouldn't waste the building slot by having both.
@Is_it_good4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I wanted to show both for the video but would delete the workshop after I got a smithy

I chose a horrible place so I have to start a new game now.
@Is_it_good4 жыл бұрын
Yes it makes a huge difference! Good luck with your second attempt!

Though you don't have to restart, you could just destroy your buildings, that way you don't lose your skills.
@TheWorldOfMeghan4 жыл бұрын
Is it Good? I also have more knowledge of the game when I restart so I can priorize the main quests over the side quests I’ve been doing.

I'm still trying to figure out how to keep my villagers happy. I finally got a wife and a couple villagers, did some quests for them, and the next thing I knew, without warning they all left.
@Is_it_good4 жыл бұрын
They probably ran out of food or wood? That will make their happiness steadily drop.
@Cedvig4 жыл бұрын
never ran out of food or wood. Upgrade their house for higher happiness. You can either put daub on wall, or make them better, with log or rock, but those change aint cheap. If you touch a house with tenants, they will go homeless until you finish and put them back in. I almost lost everyone that way, wasnt paying attention and was upgrading every house to stone house. Now they average 70% happiness with stone house/tile roof and some baby are popping out.

Great videos ♥️ Do you record while playing? If you are posting videos of this game on another channel, please share the link of the channel. Thx

Thank you. I generally record some relevant footage as I play and then write a script and record it, then try match the gameplay segments to the script.

At first, you don’t need a food storage for the first 2 villagers (3 if married). Just put the food in their house chest. Build a food shed by winter though to prevent spoilage

I got a question ; i put a mine near a cave but this mine is far from my village, each time the day begin i see my 2 mine workers walk in direction of the mine, does this influence the harvesting ? do they started working when reaching the mine ? if yes should i instal their house near the mine ? thx for your help !
@tomn.98794 жыл бұрын
What should you build first? A second house? A resource shed, or a food shed?
@Is_it_good4 жыл бұрын
A good question. I don't think it really matters as you will need all 3 of those buildings to start your village.
@Cedvig4 жыл бұрын
As he said, not really an order, as you gonna need them all anyway. Don't invite anyone to your village until you have a second house, a resource storage, a food storage, a wood shed, a hunter lodge. What really count it's placement, as you gonna walk a lot between those as much crafting job are better to be done yourself. Food Storage should be near enough place to have tavern near it. Resource shed should be central of your town, and having place for a smithy near, making trip for 70+log for a late building will be much easier. As for woodshed and hunting lodge, they are both cheap to build, take a walk with an axe and a hammer to a forest nearby, build both of them. Then put npc working them, both of their output will go in your storage, just enjoy their work and use whatever they bring you too build further.
