Well... my critique is that he even doesnt check if the students are doing it correctly. Some of them just stand there with blank expression trying to grasp what it what exactly they should do. If they paid for lesson... Well, as much as I love Matt Easton videos, it was money bad spent.

if I guessing correctly,ur right and left hand are to close to each other.right hand near to corss guard,left hand hold the pommel.

Get a restraining order against your left hand on behalf of your right arm.

You might be holding your hands too close in the guard. Try sliding your non dominant hand further down to the pommel, and remember to switch the hammer grip in your dominant hand to a "handshake" or "pistol" grip when you reach the apex of the cut (when the point of the sword has traveled the maximum natural distance on its arc)

Just, how large is a greatsword? These longswords look like what I know from the videogames as greatswords. (Bastardsword)

Historically speaking, the term 'Longsword' is really versatile and applies to a wide variety of swords you can hold in 2 hands. An rpg "bastard sword" is a longsword. A "greatsword" is also a type of longsword. Conventially, most modern longsword fencers go for a length around 150cm
