It's so funny that the game checks if you have three pieces of the Anubis Stone and doesn't let you go to the Haunted Ruins if you missed one, but then it takes for granted that you collect the last one and doesn't really care whether you reach Zarok's Lair with all 4 of them or not

Ye, that is a pretty weird check. I guess it makes sense within the lore as it is the Undertaker that brings you to the Haunted Ruins and he wants to make sure you're ready, but from Haunted Ruins to Ghost Ship and Zarok's Lair it's, lorewise, a gauntlet

I play the game on spanish because it's the fastest language, it saves ~2 seconds over english which is the slowest language. The cutscenes introducing the levels vary in length

The Ps4/Ps5 Remake is a remake of the original game for the PS1, not the PsP version. They are vastly different and therefore nothing is compareable even in terms of gameplay and tricks

How you do the gate skips with sword?

You hold the Light Attack button (X) Then you jump, once you land you press Dash (Triangle) followed by releasing X. Don't do it simultaneously and you should clip through doors. Does not work on PPSSPP Emulator

​@@desa35thanks a lot, really. I tried on emulator and nothing happened now i know why. On other side, i give you two skip i found (meaby they are already known of course) Lava skip before gallowmere castle (use the same method to get chicken running on the left and then jump) you do not need dragon armor and can skip its entire level You can reach the wooden leg in harbor jumping on a mooring pillars and jump over the wall in which you find the leg and the rune you can do gate skip to coninue Both work on emulator

@@qbiz4292 Both are known: For the Lava skip in Gallowmere castle this one unfortunately only saves you equipping the Dragon Armor, you can not enter this level without beating the Dragon cause the game plays a cutscene where the Undertaker tells you to get the Armor. Without that one the level will never start. For the Time Rune at the Harbor, this one is only useful in categories that can not clip through doors. I can already clip into the Time Rune room with the regular sword glitch so I don't need to get the Time Rune. For other categories like emulator it's probably faster, but you need to run a loop around the whole area anyway so it might actually be slower, I never timed it
