Medievil - The Ant Caves

The Ant Caves in my Medievil walkthrough.
Hiding a level within a level, sneaky. Use the Witch's Talisman on the Cauldron to summon up the Witch of this Forest and she'll send you on an Amber hunting mission, but you'll be shrunk and will go into an Ant's Nest.
This is quite a maze down here, but the enemies are fairly weak. It's too hard to describe a specific route, so I won't bother, but if you watch you'll find it. The fairies are the main reason to be here. Rescue all the fairies and amber and face the Ant Queen. She isn't too hard either, but can only be attacked whilst on her hind legs. Beat her and finish the level if you have all amber and Fairies. The fairies will take you to the Hall of Heroes, and will count towards the Chalice collection. The witch rewards you with the almighty Chicken Drumsticks. Which are lame. If only Dan was living, then maybe he could eat them to restore health.
150 coins is the reward for this Chalice. Not bad, but not particularly amazing either. Still, the best reward will be in the next level.

Played that level after watching "The Descent". Never had such fear by playing a children game before ...

The drumsticks are useful as health for Sir Daniel Fortesque. Also it's super funny to see the enemies turn into a drumstick. 😁 Brilliant game loved playing it when I was a child.

Santiago Mazzeo, The "Master" is Zarok and throughout the game, Dan Fortesque is referred to by the gargoyles as "it".

2:17 "This magic portal was crafted by the faeries. It appears to have been created to prevent something from escaping from the tunnels below..." I don't know why this line creeps me out so much...

Where is the last fairy hidden? There’s about 6 of them but I can’t find the last one. Is it in the Queen ants lair? I’m speaking in terms of the remastered version that just came out.

I randomly found it it was a hidden green area close to the final lairs before the queen. 1 year late ;( i just started playing this game since 2000. Still remember after 20 years
