I personally view ptt as a metric to show off or to show yourself where's your ability to score is at currently, less as a indicator of how good you are. I am currently peaked at 11.72 and I got some uh questionable score, such as a 9'700 on V[A]H, an EX on Dantalion and my top 2 play is a 995 on 99 Glooms. if anyone is feeling sad that they can't get their ptt up, don't worry, just take your time and play, with enough time you will achieve the ptt you want!

that and let's not forget that two different players will be good at different types of songs/charts like I've seen players at my potential getting EX+ on Unknown Levels, I'm here sitting with 9'4XX'XXX runs on average because i just cant read anything in there lol, and meanwhile i can nearly PM Hiiro Gekka cuz arc charts and crosshands dont bother me too much, but I know that a lot of players struggle on this song so in this sense, potential is really meaningless, and your ability to increase it also depends on how many paid songs you own in the first place

arcaea has a bit of a learning curve, can't tell how it compares when you have prior rhythm game experience though, but i'm pretty sure the arcs can take some time to get used to, and also like getting used to the 3d field and all. i wish you the best though, someday you'll be able to tackle harder charts!

looking at the math, it depends on your recent top 10, if it's a bit too low then you could gain ptt from a downscore if that downscore has a high enough rating in this video, i'm gaining ptt on every play because i reset my entire recent 30 scores
