I am so happy both Mr. Peach and Mr. Duncan have their own channels and creative outlets. As a hobbyist, they fulfill two different needs, and I get so much value from both. Same with this hobby channel. It's such a great time to be here in the hobby, where such great diversity of talent and hobby education is available ❤

It was Peachy’s interview while at GW that warmed me to him. Warhammer painting videos are to the point which is nice, but at some point GW seemed to do these lower painting standard vids and I think people saw Peachy coming in at the same time as a reason for that, even though he’s giving you ‘get it on the table and still looking more than fine’ advice.
@MediocreHobbies Жыл бұрын
Yeah they switched to doing battle ready and parade ready videos and I think a lot of people were used to seeing a higher standard in their videos even though it wasn't good for army painters, or beginners. I think making different standard videos was a good idea though rather than people feeling like they didnt want to buy models that looked too hard to paint! Cheers for the comment

So nice to hear Duncan and Peachy are happy after leaving. I met Duncan at the launch of the contrast at waarhammerfest. He is such a lovely guy but he looked like he was under so much pressure. I had my Hawkshroud knights in my car, I showed Duncan pics and he looked really excited. Would have loved to get them and show them in the flesh but he was far too busy. Would love to meet Peachy too, we have a very similar dark and naughty sense of humour. It would be so much fun! Plus I need inspiration to finish my Legio Metallica and Legio mortis demi companies 😂😂

Gonna use your nids tutorial to help my son paint his new Nids in the leviathan box. Keep up the good work, the community gets stronger and stronger everyday 👍

Such a great chance to learn more about Peachy. Gotta admit, I mistakenly made assumptions about him early on, and am happy to be proven wrong. He’s a stand up guy who has made some great positive changes in his life and taken courage to move away from things that are moving in an opposing direction to where he needs to be. Much respect.

The whole push for WH+ is such a clear signal that they were desperate for subscription models and "X As A Service" models. I'm surprised they don't have paint as a service etc. yet. With WH+ the lack of content was so sad. Killed off great KZbin animations who were just joy for the creators AND the fans and definitely brought in money indirectly to GW. Astartes was huge for a lot of people. I do hope the creator is happy at GW, if he's still there.

Peachy and Sugs are super tight and in no way was anybody in this video slamming on Sugs. I absolutely know Peachy is huge impressed with her success. How? Because I hang out with him multiple times a month talking about all sorts of things. What you were seeing was the amazement they have for how successful she was right out of the gate and I personally know Peachy wishes absolutely nothing but the best for her (and continues to help her with her efforts). Good lord, man. Huge misread of the room right there!
