I'm a senior in high school right now and will be going away for college. Despite this, I still have a desire to seek a relationship even though it may crumble in 6 months. I think as long as you have friends, though, it is much easier to cope with the lack of a significant other. What I have found recently, and maybe you can try this, is that it is quite easy to be the one who invites other people to do things. People are usually enthusiastic about being invited to something, so if you really want to put yourself out there, you can try coming up with something. You mentioned you do kickboxing, maybe once at the end of every week you get a bunch of people together for a friendly sparring session. Just some ramblings, as I found this video very relatable

That’s a good suggestion, I’ll have to try that. Glad you enjoyed the video or at least found it relatable! As far as seeking a relationship at this stage in your life, I would only caution you as to what your vision for a relationship actually is, if you are looking for a long term, date-to-marry relationship, then you need to be prepared for that. Just make sure you know what you are aiming for and what you needs to be done in preparation for that. I wish you the best!
