Yay! The colours are right! Things are visible, and the purples are purple! Are you able to fix the older videos too, or is the problem baked into the footage you captured? 13:28 I'm getting stressed - it's so easy to accidentally recall your scout if you have the launcher in your hand. I'm going "Put away the scout launcher. Put away the scout launcher." 13:39 Wow, I thought that broke the gravity ring corridor thing for a moment! But it was just smoke. And, yay, you put away the scout launcher :) 25:47 "Ok, so, that was not quite as useful as I expected" - Maybe not useful, but it is delightful that you can have all those conversations about ways you've died with Slate 😁 29:56 You can get more height with the jetpack if you coordinate thrusting with a jump. 31:44 "I don't think she's fallen through yet, 'cos she's not a ridiculous amount of distance out" - well, that and the fact that the surface integrity reading is still non-zero. 36:42 "Why is that part just stuck now?" - I think that was Statue Island, not part of the orbital probe cannon. You could zoom in with your signalscope to get a better look (*edit* you actually started doing that more later in the video, yay!) 38:13 "I wonder if it's taking light years into account?" - my impression is no, Outer Wilds seems to use a Newtonian model of physics, where light has an infinite speed. Well, Newtonian except for the quantum shenanigans. 40:01 And there it goes, 0% surface integrity. 41:19 You can't really "land" if you're floating in free-fall... 45:15 "Ok, well this is not telling me how I land on it without it killing me" - you are laboring under a misapprehension. Perhaps you should just try landing on the Quantum Moon again, since if it kills you, that has no real consequence to someone in a time loop. 55:34 "Let me know if there's something I missed at the Tower of Quantum Knowledge" - no, you got everything there. FYI, your ship log will tell you if "there is more to explore here". There is no projection stone inside the Tower for that writing wall, although you can find the other side of the last conversation that was sent there elsewhere on Brittle Hollow (you might have even already done so, I can't remember). 1:03:44 Congratulations! That was well reasoned. 1:09:46 Also congratulations on fully exploring the Forge before doing this! So many play-throughs, I've seen people warp to the the Black Hole Forge District, go "yay!", and then immediately jetpack to get around slightly quicker, forgetting that they're hanging upside-down and need to stay glued to the gravity-bending ceiling 😆 1:24:25 "Meditate until next loop" - yup, congratulations, you've unlocked one of the only "abilities" that you gain during the game! The only other thing being learning the various signalscope frequencies. BTW, it would be good to have a look at your ship log. It really helps people orient themselves as to what stage a play-through is up to, and you can double-check your pen-and-paper to-do list against any question marks or locations marked with "there is more to explore here" that the ship log is displaying.

I *think* the problem might be cooked in unfortunately, but I'm going to see. The issue was hidden in such a weird spot in my video editor that I'm amazed I figured out what it was! - I don't think I said anything out loud, but I think that was about the time I realized I could, and absolutely would, butterfinger recall the scout lol - Honestly it makes sense, it's a lot easier and I don't think that's playing into the story of the game in a meaningful way (e.g. not worrying about lightspeed serves the story better than worrying about it) - Oh yeah, I think you're right that it was Statue Island (or possibly the construction island?) - *I* thought it broke the gravity ring! That's why I was looking around trying to make sure it was still working. I was going to be *so* mad about it - Look at you out here with your logic about landing in zero-g 😆 - I actually think next week's (not tomorrow's) episode might be the one where I end my staring contest with the quantum moon! I had some thoughts while editing this video and they play out fairly well (... mostly, RIP our Hearthling buddy again) - Yeah I think I got the other half of that conversation relatively early, if it's the one I'm thinking of. - I'M SO SHOCKED I DIDN'T DO THAT, tbh. - Yup! Now I don't have to suffocate if I run out of fuel in That Spot on Ember Twin again lol Next episode (tomorrow's) I actually hit up the computer first thing!

I bet meditating with Gabbro is available as a deliberate way to restart the loop if you screwed up and don't want to take the rest of the 22 minutes. Given that all these planets are like 3km in diameter, I strongly doubt the game is doing anything that involves accounting for the travel time of light, yeah. All the quantum stuff is probably confusing enough already. I didn't really follow any of what you were trying to do with sending the Scout through the black hole without you, but it's really interesting seeing how you think about and interpret the game. (I would Not enjoy playing it myself, between the heights and the suffocation and the fall damage, but it's a fascinating game!)

Yep, I'm positive it's so you can end a loop if you get stuck instead of standing around like a fool. So basically, planting my scout on the Quantum Tower and then waiting for it to break off and fall through the black hole, basically. Since there's no way (as far as I can tell, at least) to get up there while there's gravity. The Scout was mostly to alert me to when it went through so I didn't have to stand there waiting (which I did anyway, and it went through as soon as I walked away lol)

Yeah, the anglerfish being blind is making me wonder if you could turn off the ship engines and silently coast on by. Is that a function?

Not turn off, but close! I see why they recommend a gamepad for the game now instead of a keyboard/mouse -- I have *no* idea how you could pull off getting in there (the way I did at least) without a joystick.
