"Meditação" is a bossa nova song written by António Carlos Jobim and Newton Mendonça for the 1960 album "O Amor, o Sorriso e a Flor". In the English version, adapted by Norman Gimbel, the song was titled "Meditation"

Over time, the song became a popular jazz standard and was performed by artists such as Andy Williams, Ella Fitzgerald, Astrud Gilberto, Frank Sinatra, Dexter Gordon, Blossom Dearie, Paul Horn, Joe Pass, Claudine Longet, Carlos Santana, John McLaughlin and Pat Boone, among many others.
