Hi Sheldon, just wanted to reach out and say that your sound is absolutely beautiful. No way around it, you sound like you're playing the universe. Could you let me know what sort of guitar that you're playing is, maker and where do you get one! That bass string adds another dimension to the sound. Also, are you open tuning or standard tuning. Which of course leads to what note is that bass string? Cheers Bruce 😊

Hey Bruce, Thank you I really appreciate thais wonderful comment!, This is a bearsell 7 string- this particular video is in standard tuning with a low B- I use other tunings in other videos.

Hi Sheldon, I am in mid-30s and started to think more deeply about life. Coincidentally I found your music at the same time! Contemplating life and your music goes really well. Thanks for creating and sharing!!

thank you. Yes that can happen in your thirties- it certainly did for me- I think my playing began to change for that reason. I’m glad if my music is helpful

Hi Sheldon. I just picked up a guitar a month ago. Playing guitar became the reason for me to keep going. And you’re my biggest inspiration to play guitar.

wow that blows me away! Thank you-my biggest piece of advice is 'keep going!' None of this was easy for me, perhaps my only talent was tenacity. Keep going with life, and keep going with music-it will pay you back.

Your ambient meditative compositions / improvisations really work for me. Air becomes crispier, tight space around me opens and suddenly the weight of existence isn't that much of a burden. I can carry on for a while.

hey Onestunnas I am putting various lessons on my patreon page relating to playing in this style- maybe that can help, also you can request particular area’s for me to cover- even tab sections (much of my stuff is part improvised)

This is great,you set an example of a true master,I can only dream of playing the guitar like this and master it. How do you do it? Does it come out of your head? What inspires you?
@ecosticks7 ай бұрын
Thank you. I started off as a classical player but later spent many hours improvising and exploring other types of music. I made a video (on this channel) 'how I compose' which talks about this a bit. I also put quite a lot on my patreon page if you are interested. I am mostly inspired by music not played on the guitar.
