Dan Wood's work is so good, the image at 5:26 is my favourite from Black Was The River You See and he has always come across as such a genuinely nice guy whenever I've had the smallest of interactions with him. Dunno if you know but he's started an online photobook store too which has got some pretty cool and rare titles in it called Photobook Junkies.

1:57 funny that you say that, as a CG artist I'm glad that I can produce images and videos at home and watching videos about photo gear or video gear makes me so happy I don't have to buy anything and really go anywhere and can just do everything I need at home. You should try out some CG software, experience in photography will help you a lot.

what kind of CG do you recommend to get started with?

@@krizzlec well I'm byest towards blender the 3d program, I recommend doing some beginners tutorial and then using premade assets to make cool scenes like you would on set.

Don't understand that UK comment. I barely see any images of where I live that aren't specifically landscapes. Also, does that mean that the US has had too many photographs taken within it? Should we all be trying to find some part of the world that no-one has been to so that we can capture something "unique"?
