The best barber i ever had who sadly passed away told me (back when i had more hair) that you can actually see the haircut when the hair grows back a bit, i always took awhile to get another haircut cause i loved having it longer, it looked even better, i think this is one of those cases. Dan is in no position to be jealous of anyone's hair, i'm jealous of his hair, ok? lol, i'm really jealous of the guy getting a haircut by this genius, he does have beautiful hair tho :)

Sorry to hear that! Yeah that's the biggest thing we've learned after spending so much time with great barbers like Dan. The haircut is not just about how it looks when you walk out of the shop, it's about how it looks in 4-5 weeks once it's grown out. Steven doesn't like regular haircuts either so you'd hope this one will last him a good 6-8 weeks and he'll still be happy. And hahaha yes Dan has great hair and so did this gent. Hoping to get down to Liverpool within the next couple of months to film the video on Dan's hair

Thank you! We love seeing how much the guys trust Dan. Most of them are gents we find for videos and it's the first time they meet Dan on the day. We have a quick consultation beforehand on the couch to make them feel comfortable as can be daunting just sitting down and getting a camera thrown in your face. Once we chat and Dan explains clearly what he wants to do, you can see as soon as they sit down in that chair they trust him

Great video thanks Im in malaysia and they always cut my sides too short. Its too much of a contrast between the top and sides This looks way more natural and blended Any recommendations on how to communicate this with the hairdresser. I like this cut on the video. Length on top with sides slightly shorter but it doesnt look aggressive or disjointed. All blends nicely

How are you following your guide when using clipper over the comb since you are working horizontal from top to bottom?

Jeremy A it’s all in they eyes man, when lifting hair through the comb u can see the longs from the short and after doing it for so long it comes naturally. Practise practise. Also I think u mean vertically right? And one tip, when doing this it’s best to use the clipper open (0.5) since it takes the hairs that u see pop outta the comb, if using it closed it always takes more than what u can see through the comb. Once ur comfortable it’s up to u then to go with which ever. Ignore if u alrdy no this but just tryna help lol, good luck.
