Mediums do have a lot more control over results these days for sure however I'm seeing more heavy tanks out there these days.

Mediums are better in chaos (aka random battles) due to their versatility/adaptability, if you play ranked (above 4k rating) the higher you go, the better heavys become since battles are more about positions and people know what they're doing, so it's way harder for mediums to flank etc, organiced and skilled gameplay (of all team) heavys are better

I love slow pace buskha do on battle field, wait and see. Nowadays many blitz youtubers run every tanks on pace and keep going to front line. They did well with massive amount of dmg but this style isn't for everyone including me.

Effective TDing is no longer "hang around at the back and snipe". That sometimes works but generally you have to follow one side and support directly. Some maps are better than others for old style TDing.

duude i missed u so much. have been around loong time. some things changed of course. although i agree on medium, they are the most influential tanks. but mm sometimes puts one or even none of light or med on teams, or one med for u and three for reds.. f such balance man. concerning youtubing, my preferences changed a lot. i dont watch youtubers who do tutorials and that old school sh it.. may be because i know generally all tanks and play style and just watch new tank reviews, before paying anything. most of the time i started watching so called “unicums” streamers, some of them twister champs and stuff like that. there is one 16 years Russian girl streamer, dude she rules it man. a lot of lady streamers who rock the battlefield. this is the content i learn and want to watch to get better. i dont know, wanted to share my opinion after ur video, as one old school to another old school anachronism 😄 gl and i will always watch u, i have so many sentiments and memories man.. this is the channel a started my first education in blitz

Mediums are the best types for you to train situational awareness, aim and positioning (maybe angling if its a t22 or e50m)

The prerequisite for using a med effectively is familiarity with all the good positions in every map, and that’s very hard for most users. Without it ur med would just be obliterated

Yes and no; if you have bad internet, then definitely no. Nothing's worst than being in the middle of a heated battle and having no control. I love to play lights and mediums, but my internet drops too much to play them as much as I want.

Hello Bushka, There is of course no disagreeing with personal preference and I do not want to diminish the strengths and advantages that medium tank play offers... However I don't think it's true that TDs 1) only punish bad players generally 2) can't hold losing flanks (which is actually their speciality I would say) Yes there are some TDs which don't fit the defensive playstyle (like 263, 268/4 or in some set ups the foch and E3) and thus you would rather use them to push the flank which you have the numerical advantage on... but rest thrives in conditions where you sit in a position where the enemy team can't afford to push you and you use the best DPM and gun handling to turn the tie of the battle. Generally with a TD you can, by your positioning and your abilities to read the game, be able to punish anyone who tries to push the angle you are covering / cap the base you are covering. The sweet thing about TDs is also that it's much more about you planning ahead than scrambling and make crazy fast snapshots at the last second etc. (which as we all get older, the reaction time is simply hard to compare with the teenagers) !!!FLEX ALERT!!! stop reading now if you don't want to read someone typing about their personal win rate with the 4 available classes on tier X What I am getting at is that the more experience I have gathered by playing - and especially in the tournament setting, I have risen the most in WR and DPG for TDs. So it might be a matter of time (aging as a player) Mediums / lights > Heavies > TDs learn to make reactive plays > learn to make proactive plays > learn to make pre-emptive plays I too started off loving mediums, peak and boom patton and stb playstyle was the only tank which I was able to hold 70+% wr with in tier X at first. And I thought I wouldn't be able to reach that achievement with any other tank. Then I found out that other tanks like the Maus, or Chieftain, or Super Kongo, Kran, Yoh or VK P or T-22 Medium or IS-4 or T110E3 do allow me to influence the game even more due to the strong armor or impactful DPM / survivability combo and I managed to get even up to 75-79% with some of them... And after tournament play and a few years gone by, suddenly T110E4, Hori, WZ-113GFT and FV4005 started reaching those levels of wr and dpg. So much so that my top 10 tanks according to damage contain 1 light, 6 heavies and 3 TDs. TDs aren't necessarily team reliant... it's the effective TD player who often turns even a dying newbies with 0 damage into a useful asset (spotter and hp pool)

Thats really fair though. Even though heavies got a hit point buff and Armour buffs some time ago mediums and lights still reign supreme and I don't see a blitz where heavies and tds are the meta anymore. Love 💘 my Vickers and Leo 1

Mediums have a little bit too much penetration, the mobility feels like a plus at this point and little to no heavies can actually fight a decent medium tank player.

I agree with this video mostly. But this is my opinion: Mediums definitely have the upper hand when it comes to being able to win a battle. But for me, there's 2 TD's that I can influence a battle heavily with. The T110E3 and the Obj. 268. But with some of these meds, (T-22, TVP, T-62A), the battles are so insanely one sided if the other team has even one of those tanks. Just my 2 cents.

Three minutes in; can't keep my mouth shut... Yea, also been having a low period and just getting back in, and what I've come back to is my collection of Mediums. I do like **some** TDs; the Yolo Wagon, Foch, 122-54, WZ.120-1G FT and similar tanks, because they **are** Mediums, only they don't have turrets. The WZ Fake Tank is literally a WZ-120 with a fixed mount 122. The SU-101 is a T-54. But still, I bought the little T-44-85 with my free gold off all those battlepasses, and it's become my go-to tank for a couple of weeks now. Just good old Soviet Medium playstyle. and I love, love , **LOVE** the 121B, because it's a tier X Hype 59 and I got mine from Wargming too. Looking forward too seeing some gameplay! :)

Bruh, I used to hate mediums tank the first have of my career, They used to be, along with light tanks were my least favorite types of tanks, they had nothing that I liked, I thought speed was useless, and the armor was the best and the big guns, and already U have perhaps already guessed my favorite tanks were the E100 and the Deathstar, which they were LOL, they are now are one of my least favorites, Now I play nothing but Meds, and a little bit of heavies LOL, LOVE YOU BUSHKA, MEDIUMS ARE BEST AND YOU BETTER BELIEVE THIS GRUB LOL, I took a break from Blitz just like you did, but I needed it back again, I left when you left Bushka, Blitz back in the days was nothing without you, I have been playing for five years, I love your content, my favorite Blitz KZbin now, Love it BUSHKA

TD’s used to dominate the game early days maps had far more strategic places to take cover and obliterate the battlefield then they balanced the maps and left TD’s so much more exposed to lights and meds WOT over balanced and ruined them.
