That was really neat! What a cool concept. Amazing how different it felt from Portal, even though you are using the same buttons and cubes. Would be awesome to see a finalized version of this.

agreed, as far as i can tell Ezekel hasn't taken this any further, there is a fan made sort of sequel to this by Slyceth that i will do at some point, and yeah it would be cool to see what other puzzle designs can come from these kind of mechanics too. As always, thank you and much love dude

The first 5+ minutes is so painful. Didn't even think to check the bridge with the correct alignment even once 🤣

Had no idea the bridges had any connection with the floating symbols, that's why i tried placing the cubes on them as i was going by the usual cube goes place to get a thing mechanic :) Thank you for watching and commenting

I'm glad to see you play this map, because it was one of my favorites when I first saw it on the workshop. It's such a unique map with an interesting premise, so it's sad nothing seems to have come of it

I agree with you, i'd like to see this developed further too, it's an interesting concept and it would be interesting to see what other mechanics could be made with the different element cubes, it already has the particular cube on particular button but i can imagine you could also have some puzzles where you can only swap position with certain cubes depending on the situation too. 0:18 Imagine being a god/goddess and bringing some random person to your 7 deadly trials and instead of that person displaying fear or anxiety, they just say "Hello everybody and welcome to [map name]. Great map and unique concept, worth a play.

i think the guy was just some sorcerer with an inflated ego that we were supposed to be apprenticing to, plus he called us a rebel, which i think was actually meant to say rabble which is even ruder! :D and yeah agreed the concept of being able to trade places with cubes is interesting, i'd like to see more of it. there is a sort of fan made sequel to this by Slyceth, i've added it to the list to do soon. 3:18 - That is a bridge of light. Non-solid light :P 9:08 - Would've been nice to have a screen overlay to represent your attunement, as well as having visible changes in the bridges' appearances. Oh well! 9:13 - I literally just said that!!! 15:20 - Someone needs to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender then 😏 25:49 - "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" - Some smart person Great ritual- erm, I mean, great video!!

As opposed to a hard-light bridge it must be an osmosis-light bridge

3:18 it would be so much easier to understand if all hard light bridges had a big "H" on their foreheads! 9:08/9:13 yeah the attunements connection to the bridges really needed to be explained there was nothing really to suggest they had anything to do with each other, i took the cube to the floating symbol because i was expecting the usual game setup of putting a cube some place gives you something in return. 15:20 is a squiggle used for the symbol of air in Airbender then? i have never watched it, i never really appealed to me to be honest. 25:49 pretty much the same has "how do magnets work" :D i mean we apparently passed the ritual so i can now put test subject / apprentice elemental sorcerer on the channel description. all the love to you ❤

@@ngeruma 15:20 - Netflix is soon to release a live action adaptation of the series, and it is looking very promising. Maybe then it'll pique your fancy? 👀

Having visible changes to the bridges are kind of "wrong", as its YOU that its attuned to the powers of demons or angels. So its not like the bridges become "solid". The concept is easier to understand if you think the map being with multiple people, one person being attuned to angels, and one person attuned to demons. The bridge couldn't change apperance as it would look "wrong" to one of the persons. So a on-screen indicator would be the best.

always wanted to test in the courtyard of the buckingham palace ngeruma this map released 9 years ago. Yes. 9 years ago. I seriously doubt this project is still in the works. I know, when I think 2015 I think 5 years ago too, but its 9.

Yes like a fire cube getting fizzled when put in water, a cube that can't fizzle and a cube that activates something when destroyed.

Yeah the textures do have the sort of early playstation feel to them, not the quality but the colour schemes. I like the concept and since this was meant to be like a play test experiment for the concept the kind of finicky-ness can be forgiven, i would like to see more of this and what other mechanics can come from it. Yeah it could of done with a bit more explanation, particularly for the how the light bridges work with the floating symbols, as it was made for a test of a game concept though it can be excused, further development would like have things explained more. As always, thank you for watching!

I think you are making it hard, once you have one enabled it stays enabled. And both are enabled once you visit both symbols.

Hey sorry for the late reply, you could be right and i have a habit of over complicating puzzles, but i think when i was noclipping for screenshots you could only be tuned to one at a time so only either the blue or the red bridge at any one time. i imagine if the game was developed further being able to have both at once by setting something up with the cubes could add another layer of puzzle mechanics to it too.
