Although I largely agree with Fr. Leon, I don't see why we can't focus on both apparitions and salvation- for me they're intertwined. Re: President Regan, a US ambassador under Regan said that Medjugorje was central to bringing down communism and the Berlin wall down. I saw the interview myself. It was in a movie made by Israelis. I bought it years ago, I'll try to find it. That said, God has angels, the BVM, let alone Jesus to interact with us including apparitions for all of humanity, so they shouldn't be disregarded.

The tennis players are Marin Cilic and Ivan Dodig. (I was a tennis player before being taken down by adult onset muscular dystrophy - my little cross). Cilic is a great guy and brought the US Open trophy after he won it, back to Medjugorje and immediately went to church for Holy Mass.

I love this video..very humble, peaceful, & beautiful....for me Medjugorje has for the greatest part has been about the messages & fruits...only in the beginning were the secrets really important & I focused on them trying to understand what will happen before Christ returns..but the love & Truth & peace of our Mother's messages are what has constantly led my heart ever closer to Jesus, Her, & our Holy & Apostolic Catholic Church...for me, it's impossible to not believe & I am changed person because of Medjugorje ❤❤

I appreciate his willingness to honestly talk about the messiness of apparitions. I also had this sense when reading Sister Lucia’s memoires. She faced a great deal of opposition from her parish priest and even her own mother. Most don’t acknowledge these things perhaps because they are afraid it will shake their faith.

The movie with the US Ambassador's testimony is called "From Fatima to Medjugorje." Lots of great info in this documentary including as to the compromised bishop at the time and the rolls of the KGB and UDBA. Hint, the KGB knew that if the praying of the Rosary took hold, communism would fall, so they did everything short of killing Fr. Jozo and the visionaries to stop it at the time. What I love is that the commies knew it was real an were afraid of the BVM.
