Meebook M8 white Chinese version-unboxing, compare with M7

First video I see on it, seems like the sound is not working. You M7 seem to have a lot more contrast, but it probably can be tweeked with setting. I already preordered the m8 in Thailand should arrive end of the month. I almost chose the m7 but the m8 has many advantages so it is worth the ,ait : bigger screen, octaore cpu, more ram , android 14, pen support... I am looking forward to receive it, first preorder I have made in a long time... It will replace my kindle paperwhite 2018 very well I am sure.

are there any information about the type of e-ink screen does it use? it only said eink carta hd on the webpage. no way it uses eink carta hd from 2013 right?

Thailand authorized distributor said, The screen is an upgrade version of the Meebook P78 Pro model for a nice contrast for handwriting but unknown yet the Carta version. (disclosure) The handwriting: Including some mode/option 'hand forbidden' like a palm rejection when writing. (I guess it maybe similar to P78 Pro) You can take note on the sideload epub, pdf file, and export to pdf note.
