I lived down in Kensington for years and it’s the Wild West mixed with Walking Dead. Every block selling dope is like a small business so there is no “head” they can take down and make a huge difference. They bust the head of the block? That block shuts down but the other 99 are still running and someone will be setting up shop on the one busted earlier that same day. But honestly, the dealers keep the peace better than the cops anyway. They don’t let you get hassled or robbed on their block because it’s bad for business. Also, brings unwanted police attention . They will yell out “dope, powder, hard” as you walk or driven by. In the early morning they sometimes give out samples to drum up word of mouth business that day. If you see a bunch of people running in one direction ? They are going to get samples. 😂
