I'm an old hip hop head watching new hip hop videos. Here is my take on Meek Mill & Miguel performing Stay Woke at the BET Awards. They gave a great performance touching on police brutality and criminal justice reform. I give a perspective on how it is related to Bernie Sanders and Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner. I rate the beat, lyrics and overall song and give my impression of the best bars and stand out moments.

No, I was just trying to say that I like that Bernie Sander's group Our Revolution had a hand in getting Krasner elected which helped get Meek released. Larry Krasner is also pushing through a lot of the reforms that criminal justice activists are looking for like no cash bail etc. I didn't mean to make it sound like that's the reason I listened to Meek, just an interesting aside.
