This was a great overview/rules primer. I got the game to the table for the first time a couple of nights ago and played through a couple of rounds and then found this video. Repetition on rules is key. Plus, your pacing is really good. Keep up the good work.

Always love to see more MFW content, I think this game is really amazing. It is not the easiest to get to the table, there definately needs to be a dedicated time for it. Your point about the game being a blend of story and lighter weight euro is spot on. I think some people looked at it and thought it was going to be a heavy game with a sdie story, but the designer was very clear that this is a story as much as a game. I happen to enjoy it being lighter as it allows me to focus on the story more. I would also mention that the variability within each scenario is massive. I have had two wildly different outcomes in terms of where the story went, just within a single scenario so there is a pretty high replay value for that.

May have missed it but in the rules explanation there's no mention of insanity for using occult knowledge when co pleating experiments

wait, what?!? there isn't a vo for most of it?? that was a HUGE part of the kickstarter delay from what i recall - they had SO MUCH voiceover work that they were getting done! no? that's SUPERBLY disappointing... i wonder where all the 'voiceover work' went, then. i thought we were told that *EVERYTHING* was going to have a vo. both from a female voice as well as a male voice. i'm getting ready to do my first playthrough with some friends in a week or two and trying to get a leg-up on the rules/gameplay! i'm still excited to play it!

I'm not sure if the plan was to get it all done and it just didn't happen when I played, but the only parts that were voiced over are the beginning sections of each generation.
