What happens if one player runs out of cubes, and if I asked a question and the habitat was a possible location according to said player, can I research on that habitat later and win tge game?

Why not search on every turn? What's the incentive/advantage to only asking one player a question?

Consider if you were playing guess who and only guessed a character on every turn. They would likely narrow down your character before you won by random chance. Same kind of thing here.
