To me, my big surprise was Andromeda's Edge, which I bought because of your tutorial. This game is for me one of the best games that I played in the last couple of years.

17:30 It's probably called The Black Forest because its other name is Schwarzwald Cake (=Black Forest, it's a mountaineous region in Germany) as this type of dessert is said to originate from that region. 😁

It was a busy month but I did get to play a few new games at PAX Unplugged. Algae, Inc had the most promise. Fortunately, two friends in my game group pre ordered it so I’ll have a chance to try it some more. Love you guys❣️ Happy Holidays 🎄🍄🎁

My son printed out Kokoda campaign battles for Memoir 44 so we've been playing those. Brilliant to have Aussie forces on the board but unfortunately, I've been the Allies and always lose.

@@MeepleUniversity yes and no. He's like a genius, and when that's not enough, he's got super luck with the combat dice 🎲. And not just memoir, he pantsed me at scythe, won Game of Thrones, the list goes on.
