Looks very nice. I just can’t bring myself to drop $80-$90 on it. Would rather get some of the rarer Don Carlos blends, or even a handful of just Don Carlos.

I remember him talking about it in the interview. Grats on getting your paws on one. The worst part is that the way things have been going, 60 EUR for a magnum opus doesn't even sound that crazy anymore comparatively speaking. Cohiba Siglo VI for example is creeping up on 90 EUR, and that's a regular production cigar...

Magnum opus is the best word to describe this. I wish I used that in the video! Yeah, with these new cuban prices cigars like these Meerapfels certainly have a place in the market that they wouldn't have had before. It's interesting how fast things have changed!

It's not as dark and deep of a sweetness as madero I'd say. You have to try a Cameroon wrapped cigar for sure!

Those just arrived in Iceland and I'm impressed with the cigar importer here. The prices are similar to cuban cohiba.

@@StogieLads do you know what the difference between the Meir and Richard is? I love the Meir but the Richard is almost double the price from what I see

@@crestedcresties Yeah I wish they specified! They don't really say what the difference is at all other than the packaging unfortunately. My guess would be slightly more aged tobacco maybe? Very unsure though.
