Carpy, great first experience actually. It isn't bunchers or construction. It's aged Cameroon. Gotta store em in the cabinets they come in with low humidity Boveda. The taste will be correct and there is a good chance for burn issues because aged African Cameroon is a pain in the butt to work with. That's the way some/most could burn. What you're mistaking for "chemical" at first is actually delicious aged African Cameroon. Smoke like 4-6 more and you'll be hooked forever. It reminds me of smoking Cubans at first and just getting grass & hay. OMG Meerapfel is such a great cigar and I am so glad the family is making these blends :)

I suspect your sample had been tainted unconnected to the cigar and it’s manufacturer, I’ve had about 1/2 a dozen of those , and have never picked anything synthetic or “chemically “ in the profile. Sounds like a bummer to me 😏

Yeah, that's what I've heard. I think I got a dud. I'll revisit. Something wasn't right with that thing.
