This is such a stunning tribute to Gwen and Merlin's friendship. I really miss their season 1 interactions! I was hoping Gwen would find out about Merlin's magic in Season 4...a couple of times, she seemed really close. Excellent song choice, too. I love Andrew Belle, and the lyrics to this one fit Gwen and Merlin perfectly.

Thanks for posting that sentence in the updated description. That's exactly what I couldn't understand. And while I wait for the next episode, I came back to series one and watched eps 01 and 02 so far. Merlin and Gwen are the cutest potential couple ever. I really don't remember the point where they stopped being about "stares and almost kisses (plus an actual one)" to become "strictly friends" to each other. I suppose that was way before Arthur started falling for her. Well, I will see soon.

Their friendship is subtle, and that's what makes it great. I like to believe that most of their friendship is happening when the cameras aren't rolling since so much of the show is taken up by other (amazing) things. But I'm glad you enjoyed this. Thank you.

I really love Merlin and Gwen's friendship. It started out with her having a huge crush on him, which he was totally oblivious to, but as time went on and they got closer and now they're really good friends. Two friends, who are always there to look out for each other! When he went to see her and just watched, hearbroken as she walked away .... :'( Beautiful video, it's really gorgeous! ;)

Lovely video and a rare one at that! Their friendship really is honest...even though we don't get much of it since S1. My favorite moments of Gwen/Merlin- when Merlin's outside Gwen's house on the day of her banishment and also when she consoles Merlin in 4.07. Yes! I love this so much. Merlin and Gwen have been friends since the beginning. They're always there for eachother - Merlin always helping, Gwen being the moral compass. I was sad seeing the Arthur/Gwen end but seeing Merlin's sad gaze as he was the only one to see Gwen off (where the hell was her brother???) just broke my heart. This was a beautiful tribute to their sweet friendship. *hit favourite button* I'm goinna break that replay button today. I swear!

And I found it difficult to make a video focused more on the friendship side if I used one of those songs. So this was two years in the making pretty much. I love, love, love this🤗 Merlin and Gwen are like sister and brother and love their scenes together. Loved their scenes together especially in The Witchfinder and The Goblin. Merlin was always there for Gwen, even when she was banished. Gwen has always been there for Merlin. Merlin and Arthur are like brothers and Merlin is the biggest Arwen shipper🥰Merlin loves them both and they both love him.
