This man is a stud, very humble and kind. He has a powerful aura, and as a man I can truly say I admire him. Last night I had a 92 year old patient who told me her son died in her arms . I took extra care for her and nurtured her like she was my grandmother. When she got transferred out of my floor to another floor she cried to me and told me this was the best day she ever had and that I reminded her how it feels like to have a son again. She asked me for a hug and a kiss and truly this made me feel like a million dollar man even though I am not. The whole point of this story is Mr Mohammed exact words of richest and success doesn’t navigate to one’s ownership but to one’s work. I have 3 daughters of my own and my sister passed and left me 4 of her kids and every check I make sure we all eat .

In 2022, Guyana exported $1.36B in Gold, making it the 47th largest exporter of Gold in the world. In 2024 Guyana’s gold declarations decreased by 10.3% and this was due to lower declarations from small and medium sized miners. Very interesting question from Chris Must List! According to available data, Guyana exports a significant portion of its gold, with gold representing around 64% of its foreign exchange and making up a large portion of its total exports, often exceeding 50% of the country's export earnings; essentially, the majority of Guyana's gold production is sold internationally.

Very insightful interview. I know people in the oil & gas trade in Guyana but was not familiar with its gold industry. Ironically I live in Ghana where gold mining is a historical industry. Ghana currently faces challenges with illegal mining so when he mentioned "small operations" my ears perked up because that is usually associated with illegal mining in Ghana which is environmentally detrimental. Water bodies made polluted. Truly a shame. But I'll trust Guyana is different and if so, would hope to see how Ghana could learn from how to do it the "right way"
